The Team

Nathan joined Pulse Plastics in 2017, following a very successful career as a senior manager in the recruitment industry. His understanding of process, sales, finance, and contracts has consolidated his ability to operate at all levels within Pulse Plastics.

His network of business and customer relationships has enabled the company to extend its reach and identify new opportunities. Nathan oversees the strategic development of Pulse and is instrumental in ensuring that sufficient resources are made available to deliver ongoing and new projects to key deadlines.

David joined Pulse Plastics in 2012. David has extensive knowledge and experience of production and industrial processes and has been instrumental in introducing manufacturing and process efficiency measures to the company. David is responsible for the commissioning, maintenance and day to day operation of the equipment on the Pulse Plastics site

Ian Joined Pulse in 2018 having completed 30 years working for a Local Education Authority. An experienced manager and agent of organisational change, Ian is responsible for business improvement including ISO 9001 implementation, health and safety management and longer-term business transformation programmes.

After initially working for British Steel for 12 years in his early career, Ian established an injection moulding and die stamping business in Tredegar supplying components to local customers. Ian originally founded Pulse Plastics in 2002 before selling the business to its current owner.

Ian continues to play an active role in the company and has in-depth knowledge of plastic manufacturing processes and equipment and has been responsible for specifying, procuring and delivering new production lines. Ian has been responsible for the development and testing of the prototype ultrasonic welded edge protector for Tata Steel and will work closely with the Production Department during commissioning and start-up of the new equipment.

David joined Pulse Plastics in February 2022 and has proved himself to be an invaluable member of the team. He has enjoyed a successful career in South Wales and his experience in the industry has given Pulse Plastics a new dimension in the areas of extrusion and pelletising.
